It offers a simple process: enter your payment card details, load money onto your Wave account, and you're ready to board with your smartphone as your ticket. RIPTA also provides one-way, Day, and Monthly passes that can be used on all services. To board the bus, simply open the app and scan it using the validator.
With the Wave App, you'll never have to worry about losing your fare again. Once you load money into your Wave account, it will always be available for use. In the event that you need to replace your phone, transferring your balance is easily done.
